Save the Date

My bride & groom Steph + Brian are getting married this August in the coolest spot, deep into the Los Angeles National Park at the former Ahmanson Ranch. Brian is a graphic designer & he created their awesome invitation suite.

By the way, it was featured on Oh, So Beautiful Paper. Yep, he's that good.

Venue Spotlight: The Ebell Club, LA

Saturday I had the privilege of assisting my friend Heather Ham with a wedding at the Ebell Club in LA. We had an awesome team of vendors & the day went beautifully. Pictures to come!

Reese Weds

I love this shot of Reese Witherspoon & Jim Toth on their wedding day. This moment is probably my favorite of any wedding day...the stress is over, the vows have been said, and two separate people are now one.

Her Monique Lhuillier dress is soft, whimsical and pure beauty.

31 Bits

My new favorite jewelry line...31 Bits. The beads are made from recycled paper & each piece is unique, handmade by women in Uganda. You can be stylish & empower women at the same time.

This one is the newest addition to my accessories...

The first day I wore it I got so many compliments! You'll love your 31 Bits, I promise.

Mottsy

My good friends over at Mottsy have come up with some awesome custom printed products. Use up to 25 different images (like your own photos!) & customize the width & height. Invitations, place cards, thank you cards...you name it, they can make it. Have fun creating!

I love the idea of guests filling out postcards as your guest book...your mom or another responsible friend can put them in the mail every week or so; you'll get sweet notes from guests throughout your first year of marriage! Your engagement pictures can be the backdrop...love it!

BHLDN ~ shoes

BHLDN for your toes. Diamonds are a girl's best friend? I think not. Shoes it is.

BHLDN ~ maids

Once again, BHLDN does not disappoint. Gone are the days of hideous bridesmaid dresses, worn once then sentenced to the deepest darkest spot in your closet, never to been seen again.

And while you're at it, pick up one for your engagement party, shower &/or rehearsal dinner.

Anthropologie + Weddings = BHLDN

I can spend hours in Anthropologie...like so many women across America. I'm sure you'd be quick to agree. Unfortunately I don't always walk out with anything. And I don't mean walk out with stuff, like a shoplifter. In that case it'd actually be a good thing. I mean I don't buy a lot of things from Anthro. Usually they're a little out of my price range.

But these beauties...I think they are worth every penny. Check out the whimsical wonder that is BHLDN (pronouced Beholden).

Dancing Shoes

If you haven't heard of Toms by now you probably live under a rock. There are many things I love about my Toms. They're stylish, super comfy, and the best part? Every pair you buy means a pair for a child who probably hasn't ever had shoes.

They come out with new designs all the time, and now they can outfit your bridal party! There's bright white, sparkly silver, creamy ivory and a rainbow of colors to match every wedding. Of course the groom has options, too, like classic white, black leather or soft velvet. And don't forget the Tiny Toms for your flower girl & ring bearer!

You don't have to bring an extra pair of dancing shoes...you're already in your comfies!

I love the wedge, too! Great for the bride or her maids.
There's nothing better than a brightly-colored shoe peeking out from underneath a gorgeous wedding gown. Love!
