I've known Ellie since she was little...her older sis Hannah has been one of my best friends/sisters for as long as I can remember.  I proudly consider myself a part of the McDonald family, so to witness the marriage of Ellie + Mark was an amazing day!  Just revisiting the photos brings happy tears to my eyes!  When you add a gorgeous venue (managed by my bestie Kim Rico of Drops of Honey Designs) and uber-talented/gorgeous photographer Kelli Avila, it doesn't get much better than that!

{real wedding} miriam + aj

Miriam + AJ's wedding had so many great elements...vows in front of picturesque columns, family-style four course meal under twinkling lights, awesome entertainment, a rap-serendade for the bride & groom...all ending with groomsmen jumping off the roof into the pool!  I was honored to be a part of their day.

The lovely home belonged to the bride's aunt...and totally reminds me of the Father of the Bride  house!

They had the ceremony translated in Italian for the bride's family.

The bride's friends surprised her with an AMAZING rap...even without understanding a word {it was all in Italian} it was such a hit!

Everyone had a blast!  And how cute is Miriam's reception dress?!  She rocked it!
